Hi
My name is Marius and I plan to use it fo my kitchen- hallways-dinning and living room area. HC-43 seems a good option for this project.
Now I'm just curios how that colour look on your kitchen-dinning-living room.
Thank you so much!

I think it is really to be admired that she was able to draw an audience who could discuss a post that contains only a picture. I guess as a lowly decorator with a need to put down words, I find this to be sublime.

Hi Ann!
Sorry for taking so long to respond to this. Your comment was thrown into spam! I only look there every so often. I guess I should check daily.

If you want to replace the red paint, you have a lot more options. You could go for something greener on that way only, like Wasabi for Agave. Satchel looks amazing with Elemental and Etruscan.

The rest of the room should be the same color in all the areas you mentioned.

The hallway, however, can be a much more neutral shade. Not white, but light. Peau de Soie?

Hi there Denise!!!

Thanks sooooo much for your kind help!

I'm glad that you liked my kitchen :) It's weird that when I first saw Sahara Melange from the tile showroom, I thought it's way too "sparkly" for my tiny kitchen and it was actually my last choice. But when I put everything together, it's the one that gave the extra "pizzaz" I was really looking for :) I'm really happy to hear from a designer that I made a good choice on my backsplash and countertop :)

Your recommended colors are also colors I've considered after I finally got my own Benjamin Moore Affinity fan deck :) It's easier because I can see actual paint chip and they did look different from the computer monitor. That way, it's easier to narrow down my choices. I love both Etruscan and Elemental :) I even liked Kona or Carob (accent), Wasabi and Anjou Pear as well.

You are right about using thick baseboards. We have that factored in when our contractor get done with the floor :)

I still have a few more questions for you though, I hope you don't mind:

1) We are not keeping the red paint on the wall opposite opposite the kitchen however, now that you mentioned it's a good contrast with the brownish paint on the room addition, should I just stick with something dark red tone?

2) Are you recommending the same paint for the wall opposite the dining nook? So from the double door by the dining nook towards the kitchen then around the wall by the main entry door, it would be better to have 1 color, right?

3) Do I keep the same color (BM Affinity - Elemental) along the hallway as well? I'm not too sure where to break the paint coming from the entry way towards the hallway.

Thank you soooo much again for taking your time helping me out. Really appreciate it. Hope you wouldn't get tired answering my inquiries.

Take care always,
Ann

It's Asian candy. I don't even know if it is Japanese or Korean. I got it from an international food store just because it looked pretty. They tasted AWFUL!!
