Well, what can I say...great minds.

Or really two people who were raised the same way and were educated together...and ended up in Virginia...

I picked the bedding because it is just a great value and DwellStudio is awesome AND I thought it would harmonize with your browns and the green tile in the Kitchen. (We decorators think like that.)

Decals are the dumbass wallpaper borders of yesterday. Only they come off when it's out of style.

IKEA. Do ya hear me??

And again with the great minds--when I saw the rocket I thought I should just go and buy it, but then my MILLIONS of loyal blogfans wouldn't know how awesome it pulls it all together! bwahahahahha

Seriously, that was fun. Love you, Original Biddy!

Did I ever tell you how lucky I am to have you as a friend? These picks are faboo AND eerily close to what has been going on in my head for the last 5 months. Check it out: 1) I totally saw the rocket bedding at Target LAST NIGHT! It’s super cute and combines the two colors the husband and I are arguing over: green and blue. Plus it has the chocolate brown in there so the room won’t look like it belongs in a separate house. I’ve also been Googling wall decals for the last 3 days because it’s an easy and inexpensive way to decorate and I STILL remember the ones that were on my walls when I was a kid. 3) I have this fantastic book called Baby Bargains that tells you what baby junk you really need and what you can go without. It’s like a Consumer’s Report for new parents. Anyway, it says the best crib deal is IKEA’s Gulliver both for safety and the money (just $99!). 4) My friend Jenn (another WC alum) told me not to buy a rocking chair that I wouldn’t normally have in my house, which is why I’ve been dragging my feet about buying one because all I see are the fugly gliders with the even fuglier gliding foot stools. But I did notice the Poang chair while looking at aforementioned crib. With your other IKEA picks, it sounds like we’ll be seeing you very soon!

Your other suggestions are spot on and I love them! Well…I’m not sold on the rocket lava lamp but I figure if it’s a gift from Tia NiNi, how can I refuse? What? You didn’t think you could get out of buying a gift because of some blog entry did you?
