		<description>I love the way they look, too.  When you want white, clean, classic, and cheap, there&#039;s no better option.

And I hardly see how subway tile could date a home, seeing that it&#039;s been around since the early 1900&#039;s.  There&#039;s nothing &quot;trendy&quot; about it.  It&#039;s classic.

On the other hand, all of this tumbled marble and granite countertops that are being used now will most certainly date homes in the coming decades.</description>

		<description>GUILTY!!!  That must be true - blogging and subway tile go hand-in-hand.  I&#039;m sure there are others you have missed as well.  I love how it looks but I often wonder whether interior designers and other people,including me, will look back one day and say how subway tile really dates a house, like avocado and harvest gold, or like pickled wood and flowery chintz.  But what can you do?  Trends are trends.  Hopefully it&#039;s plain looking enough that it won&#039;t scream &quot;turn of the century&quot; in another twenty years!</description>
